New 15m DL record (though only by a few points)! I did not expect such a solid W6 opening this year, but the JA´s were runnable for only about 2 hours each day. On Sat they were stronger long path but echos were too loud to copy stations at a decent speed. I heard AH2R calling multipliers both mornings, but on which band were they CQing? Glad to snag HC8N as a double mult just before the lights went off. I had been calling him for about 30min Sat night when he was running NA.
Has anybody worked Alaska? I ran across KH7R while looking for a new CQ frequency, so the path might have been open. |
