Comments: Thanks to all the hard-working helpers who made station- and antenna setup a snap! Special thanks to Valentin DL4VK for picking up his rotor at home and bringing it up to the site when our own one failed right at the beginning. The fullsize 40m Spider-Moxon was a real SECRET WEAPON and outperformed the single element antennas most of the time - for both close-in and long-haul stations. Apart from a brief opening to SE on Sunday morning 10m was dead - even from 1000m a.s.l. Did I ever mention that 100W in CW is a LOT louder than 100W in SSB?
