Comments:
Finally a smooth 10m Contest! Last year´s experience was crucial for a good start. I did not worry about beam headings and CQ´ed away with the antenna fixed south / south-east. Interesting that conditions were a perfect match to those in 2002, but I doubt this will repeat one more time.
One feature I had never tried before was a master DOK .bin file of past entries on a separate notebook. Much like a Partial Check and kinda neat when signals are weak!
The russian WSEM contest overlapped for one hour and caused a lot of confusion. I can´t remember any collisions in previous years, so obviously they have changed the rules. Hope this will be fixed until next year. |
